Simon Bridges falling down, falling down, falling down …

“Most of the 10 bridges promised Northlanders on the campaign have failed to make the cut in a $13.9 billiion transport plan announced on Tuesday – but the Government says it will keep its campaign pledge and fund them anyway.

The Land Transport programme for the next three years prioritises billions of dollars worth of transport spending in order of most pressing need, and just three of the 10 replacement bridges promised by Transport Minister Simon Bridges and Prime Minister John Key during the Northland by-election campaign have made it to the list.

But the Government says it will dip into the Crown’s coffers if necessary.”

This means they did not cut the mustard. Egg meet Simon’s face.

Strange isnt The Royal Mail use to be nearly as big an institution as the monarchy itself
Keys blind trusts must be full of shares in the new operators or something of the like for it to be such a non- event or like everything else the govt use to own -privatisation
What will our govt of the future actually do for this country?

If The Standard only had Open Mike and Daily Review tomorrow, what would PG have to fill up his blog?

I had a quick look just before and it would appear that he is fixated on R0B at the moment but I couldn’t be bothered reading yesterday’s to see what that was.

Sad to say, but absence hasn’t made the heart grow fonder, 😀

Tim Shadbolt. 70s radical and trouble maker, has finally cemented himself into the establishment with a fire sale of council parks and closure of playgrounds which he had backed all the way. Is it any wonder that the left is having a hard time lately? Every time they get into power they sell out thier principles. At least Tories keep (most ) of thier promises.

Do you really believe all that crap about consultation? Its a done deal, the reserves will be sold. Shame on Shadbolt – establishment puppet.
