“Acting Prime Minister David Seymour says Dame Jacinda Ardern should “absolutely” be in the country when she is required and requested to be at the Covid-19 inquiry.”

So, the inference is: Jacinda Ardern should be ordered to return to NZ and face the country over her handling of the Covid pandemic. He also obliquely infers punishment for the “mess” she made of it in this clip below, and there is reflection on whether she would bring a lawyer with her… as if she has 'things to hide'.

Words fail me. At least words that would be acceptable on this platform.

Edit: I would add this much:

What the hell is he talking about when he rabbits on about “getting to the bottom of it etc.” when there has already been a Commission of Inquiry on that very subject.

    Jesus Christ………………..

Jacinda had the arrogant prick sussed….

The second part of this enquiry in particular was designed to do as much harm the Adern and Labour as possible. Nothing to do with science, totally political.

Show Trial describes this circus perfectly:

A show trial is a public trial in which the guilt or innocence of the defendant has already been determined. The purpose of holding a show trial is to present both accusation and verdict to the public, serving as an example and a warning to other would-be dissidents or transgressors.

Show trials tend to be retributive rather than corrective, and they are also conducted for propagandistic purposes. When aimed at individuals on the basis of protected classes or characteristics, show trials are examples of political persecution. The term was first recorded in 1928.

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Show_trial

And the list of countries when Show Trials are and have been popular:

          China

          Soviet Union

          Russia

          Yugoslavia

          Hungary

          Czechoslovakia

          Nazi Germany

Ties in with the idea socially conservative democracy (NZF) and populist libertarianism (ACT) are in fact authoritative and dictatorial.

Not hard to imagine Seymour with a toothbrush moustache…….he may have to mature somewhat to grow a decent one though……….

Pleasingly, it's not up to our arrogant prick of an Acting PM – what an impotent twerker.

Seymour told Herald NOW’s Ryan Bridge that although the Royal Commission is an independent body and they cannot direct it, if it were up to him, he would absolutely make sure Ardern fronted at the inquiry.

She could choose to consult others, such as Hipkins, before making any reply.

Jacinda Ardern participated in the Royal Commission of Inquiry, which, as I understand it, covered everything.

Winston Peters' inquiry, which, imo, is a witch hunt.

        1. Can't ask the same questions that were in the first RC inquiry.

        2. Inquiry to look at the predecessors' decisions that exclude decisions made by New Zealand First when it was part of the government.

        3. It gives conspiracy theorists maximum airtime.

Not only you Louis. There is also the dreadful known characterising of Jacinda as witch….

With this, I am put in mind of the Witchfinder General and the evil he wrought on innocent people…

“Witch Finder Generall,” going about Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, and Huntingdon getting villagers and townspeople to hire him and his two assistants (for a fee) to search out witches, force their confessions, and have them hanged by the authorities.

Wily ol' Winston..(and his two assistants )

How low can he go to keep power ? IMO he hasn't touched near it yet….
