      What does this mean?

Do you think the PM should be there shaking hands with the winners as part of her strategy?

It could be a reference to the photo-ops that John Key engaged in whenever a Kiwi won anything. He was always there to shake hands with them, to make it look like he was more important than them and thus steal the limelight.

Lol. Looks like he’s not interested in expanding anyway.

Tbh, the point is that commenters are hauled over the coals when making obtuse or incomplete statements. It would be nice if Ad might lead by example.

Fantastic commentary by our free to air broadcaster.

    From Twitter :

“Actually it is even worse if I get the quote correct. “There’s 27,000 people in the stadium. And it’s only the Women’s sevens”

The thought occurs that if you bought a house that was well within your budget (even though you knew it was a bit of a fixer-upper) and it turned out that the engineers reports you’d received were complete shite and failed to mention the roof leaked, the piles needed replacing, the drains relayed, the walls insulated and rotting/mouldy areas replaced, you’d expect your budget to be blown even though you were still going to sue someone’s arse for it.

John Key should be stripped of his gongs for mismanagement and all the broken stuff that didn’t appear in the books.

Actually, considering the number of documented lies of his and the National Party, he shouldn’t have got them in the first place. In fact, if we had good laws about it, he’d be in jail for those lies and deceptions and all his assets claimed under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
