Nigel Haworth writes on some of the historic implications and strategy of the worker plans for companies in the context of the worker initiated initiatives for allowing Newshub to survive.
We’ve had three recent pre-election polls. While we wait for results on election day, let’s have a look at where things might be headed.
Labour has hit stratospheric highs in the new Reid Research poll at 60.9%, and still have a strong partner in the Greens at 5.7%. Who’s in and out on these numbers? How has Collins performed?
The latest Newshub/Reid Research poll is a bloodbath for National- but who are the likely victims? Pollwatch is back, this time with a model for electorate winners and losers to add onto the party vote stats.
Is less spin and more analysis too much to ask?
A schoolgirl correctly identified exactly what caused the stink at Carterton South school. Why wasn’t she listened to?
Newshub recently released the latest poll they commissioned from Reid Research. Let’s dive into some analysis of what this means.
Misleading the NZ public about a political party, its policy, and how government works actively harms democracy.
“Dramatic and Devastating” according to Patrick Gower. Do you think he wants us to watch?
Newsroom and Newshub have broken a story about Winston Peters receiving, for the last 7 years, a single person’s super payment that he was not entitled to because he was living with an (undeclared) other person. Peters denies this but has already payed back the excess from an “innocent mistake”.

Last night all the excitement finally caught up with them, leading to calls for Paddy Gower to resign and for MSM organisations to delete their social media accounts.
I was a participant in last weekend’s Newshub poll. We’ve heard a lot about the answer to the first question, nothing at all on the second…
Is how the media would report the plan – to have immigrants work here for 2 years unpaid – if it was a Labour Party policy. (Lookin’ at you Newshub)
The Pike River families call Bill English a liar.
According to the deficient newshrub on Saturday night there was a distinct lack of support from Labour for the Mt Roskill campaign. In reality 4 buses carrying more than 200 door-knockers including all the Labour MPs other than Little, went to Mt Roskill on Saturday afternoon.
All the best to Michael Wood, who got a great reception on the doorstop.
“Revealed: Labour’s plan to wipe student debt”. Nope. Saved you a click.
After their ridiculous Andrew Little witch-hunt blew up in their faces yesterday, Newshub still can’t let it go. Sad.
Latest Newshub poll shows little change in the party standings and Winston still kingmaker. It also shows that Key “plummets” to his lowest level ever.
3 News is dead, replaced by Newshub. That’s News Hub, not New Shub. Though New Shub would be funnier.
