              probably only bought a license to stream them for a month or so.

              edit: funnily enough, there’s been more than one item I might have downloaded illegally, then liked so much I went out and bought a legitimate copy.

                  Sometimes DVDs (especially movies), sometimes keeping a streaming subscription/ getting a new one.

                  Although it's streaming here, it's made by a US cable service as a regular programme, like Handmaid's tale or GoT. Each episode is released pretty much weekly, and it's only been broadcast in the US for a couple of months. Don't know if it's same-day broadcast, but they haven't shown the full series in the US yet anyway.

      so watched a couple of episodes last nioght – really good. Interesting parallel world, and I like the way the guy plays Alfred the way Michael Caine played Alfred, but not by playing Michael Caine playing Alfred (if you know what I mean). "Acting" – ooooo it's magical, lol

        Agree about the lead. He did well not to be a dodgy pastiche while remaining true to Caine. Glad you're enjoying it yes

        The internet enables some delightful satire while at the same time causing us indigestion etc. The 'music' was so good. But not having him as the top banana (bent) would be even better, and I could forego the ironic laughter.

    Can't open the "Ross Leaks Again" post. Tried several times and same result … doesn't open. Anyone else having a similar problem?

        Thanks for your response Fireblade (4.1) … managed to eventually open that particular post. Took about 40 mins though.

    When you consider all the dirty politics, shady donations and just plain incompetence from past National govt and the arrogant petulance of the current National party opposition and then see the headlines "Jacinda Ardern drops in popularity" it really makes you wonder where this country is at. I would suggest pretty near rock bottom, along with the cesspit fourth estate.

    Anyone for sewage leaking through your hospital wall at the moment……………….

      Think it kind of more shows that people don't think the Labour Party are doing that well in govt.

      Which is kind of not surprising really given they haven't really done much.

        Probably Labour is at 100% more than the 1% that I will allow for National's activities.

        It couldn't be 0% because 100% of that would still be 0, but I have a feeling that I am boosting Gnastional unreasonably.

      Labour, and "Doctor" Clark have been sitting on their thrones for almost 2 years, haven't they. Now we are getting sewage coming through the ceiling in a Hospital Emergency Department. What the hell are the current Government up to that such a thing has started happening?

      Perhaps they could have used the money they are giving to Tainui, or the money they are throwing into the sewage pit that is the Wellington cycle-ways instead of allowing out Hospitals to deteriorate the way they are. Thank God we will get a competent lot after the 2020 election. I wonder how long they will need to fix up the shambles Jacinda and the dwarfs are going to leave them.
