Ralph Nader and Chris Hedges have a chat. A reminder that the corporations have taken over, or did you miss that?

A rather intriguing headline considering that the article then goes on to say:

Multinationals may have been shifting about US$1 billion ($1.4 billion) of profits from New Zealand to tax havens each year, according to the United States’ National Bureau of Economic Research.

One billion dollars lost to the economy every year and not just in the last 12 months.

Time to ban foreign ownership as it’s simply costing us far too much.

Donald Trump’s favorite saying “Fake news” is just his version of the Nazi phrase “Lügenpresse” (lying press) they used to shut down the real news about what they were getting up to.
Instead of The Jews are responsible for everything, he is blaming all the problems on Mexicans. A lot of what he has been saying about Mexicans is very similar to what the Nazi’s said about the Jewish people.

And our very own cretin is mouthing off about the “dishonest US press”.

I haven’t listened to or read his piece but I think he is using the child who became the poster girl for the border separation issue as his example of dishonesty.

Does it not occur to him that the photographer who took the picture would not have known at the time whether that child was one of those separated or not. He simply took the picture and presumably sent it on to his media employers. And the fact she turned out not to have been one of those separated is irrelevant anyway. At least 2500 children and babies were separated but according to Hosking they apparently don’t count.

He’s got the brain of a dinosaur.

Informed comment? You didn’t read the article did you. I glimpsed enough to note the child in question was that at the heart of his thesis. Wrong again mate.
