Households in Auckland this week getting first information about any buyouts from floods & cyclones, Hawkes Bay have had some last month. What do other readers think an equitable payout for households should roughly be? How would a bill be split between the state, local government and insurance companies.

Those poor overseas visitors are in for a cold & wet winter in NZ full of whiny people.

Debunking Conspiracies aotearoa with a debunk of Julian Batchelar's so-called 'real' Treaty he uses in his roadshow for old white people (all brown people excluded)

According to Joe Trinder, Julian's unsigned 'treaty' was 'found' in 1989 in a cupboard in Pukekohe by anti-Maori activist Alan Titford.

All is forgiven, Mr Luxon. You’re a "big, patriotic Kiwi" deep down and apart from your brief OE, you always showed your deep unwavering commitment to NZ and you only holiday in Te Puke.

Patriot believes in the Individual (over family and community?)

Patriot believes smaller influence by Government is preferable.

No wonder they don't mention covid or the floods…the current situation has them conflicted.
      1. 5.1.1

If you want to know what conflicted looks like then watch Luxon squirm in that infamous interview with Jack Tame.
         1. 5.1.1.1

oh yes. Wonder if Luxon will be asked about his Tesla and the one he tried to get (subsidized) while bad mouthing the scheme. See Micky Savage above.

That could be classic squirm territory.
