Just read Hosking on Kiwibuild. Yep.

People disadvantaged in both public and private housing market should be assisted into their own homes with an equity share (ie disabled with housing needs not catered to) should be top priority. Hell, even Kiwibuild doesn’t care about them.

    1. 2.1

There are other policies to do that. Kiwibuild is about building lots of houses. Affordability will improve as supply matches and exceeds demand. Anything quicker than that will cause angst and problems.

The irony in this is stunning. Nat mps were quite scathing of home owners who objected to the same thing, and worse, a trail was forced through the middle of a deer farm near me, destroying the health of the owner, during the first Key led tranche of cycleways.

Now it’s happening to them they go all hissy. Diddums.

It’s our esplanade reserve Amy, not your’s

With eight properties owned by her, Amy Adams has a greater chance than most of having her rural tranquillity disturbed by multiudes of invasive, lycra-clad cyclists. Why can’t they use helicopters like decent folks?

Imagine all that lycra flashing by, day in day out. She should use the RMA to block it or the fact that it will disturb the habitat of an endangered indigenous species threatened with extinction (i.e. a National Party MP).

If you have ever seen Trevor Mallard and his mates going past in their lurid lycra you would think warning signs were a good idea too.
Trevor seems to think he is a leading light in the tour de France peloton rather than a man in late middle age trying to live the youth of sporting achievement he never had.
And he ignores the red lights along the way.
You people in Auckland are lucky.

I think National and support predators have begun “duck shooting” at their latest target. They are determined to shoot a “mallard” and will get “dirty” doing so.

Can be arranged, but now she’s stuck her neck out everyone knows anyway. ODT have been giving it pretty solid coverage, and I’m wondering if a bit of factionalism isn’t stirring it along too. But such a fine target….

The south side of Lake Dunstan is a fantastic ride, I’ve done it before the lake was filled along Fruitgrowers Road and the ministry tracks for the stabalisation. Great day out.

There is an old ministry / farm track that bypasses Cornish Pt but it’s very steep and may be private, was hardcore mountain biking in early 90’s
