    Corporate dogs lose court case – then go to war against lawyer who took the case to court. Not only are Chevron never going to pay the money they owe to the peoples whose lives they destroyed. They in all the corporate greed and ego – are going after the lawyer as well.

    Funny how many liberal lefty types on this site supported the people who take money from these corporate dogs. h.r.c anyone.

      It's actually a really interesting article about a case and an injustice of which I had previously read very little. The irony of a witness being paid (in a “proper and transparent” manner) to testify that he had been bribed is striking.

      The abuse of the civil system in order to avoid jury trials and burdens of evidence is an extreme example of legal abuses inflicted by the giga-wealthy upon everyone else, similar in principle to the basic SLAPP suit.
