Celebrate every little prick of his confidence. Someone told Luxon."Not good optics".

      Now… Mitchell….devil…..So touchy.

So like some school and hospital buildings, Premier House also requires some work.

This is core government spending and government competence is to afford the same within its operating budget.

True. That is why Ardern and then Hipkins put it in the to-hard basket and left it to rot.

It merely demonstrates that they were incompetent in this just as they were in almost every other aspect of Governance.

There was the $3m spent in 2018. The 2020 report noted it was dated and required on-going maintenance.

It last had a major renovation 30 years ago and Ardern said she had no plans to change that.

One room had been made into a basic nursery for Ardern's daughter Neve, and the PM had put a beehive on the grounds.

On-going maintenance being made is a core function, regardless of whether a rich man finds that good enough for him to live there or not.

GR said that Ardern seemed reluctant to spend money on the place where she was living – he would know being Minister of Finance. Hipkins like English could not live there.

Given Luxon can, and would not till it had the right "specs", it is up to the government to determine what should happen – basic on-going maintenance, a medium term plan for a base upgrade with a subsequent renovation (21st C specs) that would enable someone of Luxon's refined taste to live there. If only for the benefit of a future PM after 2026.

Good on you Joe90yes I asked if that might be a possibility last week. So yes Up to his eyebrows. Bless Gerard.

The whole story needs exposure. Guyon Espiner? Nicky Hager?

Though the bastards who demolished Jacinda are well used to destroying any who might tickle the dark plan of the puppet masters using Luxon.

I'm going to have to read it at least twice more before the full impact sinks in.

I'm starting to get a handle on Luxon's real character. In a nutshell, he's a dangerous evangelical in all aspects of life, not just his religious beliefs.

In a way I think that is what happened today. He was so enamoured of his position as PM he really believed he had some God given right to seek accommodation costs to the tune of a $1000 per week whilst at the same time moving to throw thousands on the scrap heap and then apply sanctions on them when they ended up on a benefit as many of them will.

The fact he is a multi millionaire and doesn’t need the money didn’t enter his zealous driven but scrambled brain.

to joe90 at 3.1 : truly enlightening research/reporting connecting so many threads, shocking this cynical activist, but I am thankful to have this info to justify being such.

      That's a good find…

We are all bit players in an atlas power move…

      Lux-on is their puppet…a most willing puppet…
