What happened to the Epstein Client List?

After months and months of speculation as to its content there was a bombshell announcement yesterday by the United States Justice Department.

Contrary to numerous promises to release it after it was vetted it appears that there is actually no Epstein Client List, no recorded collection of ultra wealthy men who engaged in illegal sexual contact with very young women.

This caught everyone by surprise. Documents had already been submitted in a case involving Epstein’s associate Ghiselle Maxwell and pointed the finger at Prince Andrew among others.

Epstein was in custody awaiting trial when he allegedly committed suicide. Police had seized numerous photographs and documents and the rumour is that he had documented his activities very well, perhaps too well for others.

Attorney General Pam Bondi had previously stated on Fox News of all places that the mythical Epstein list was on her desk for review before being released. She is now trying to walk that back.

The right wing in the United States is blowing a fuse about the announcement. The strong feeling among them is that some sort of cover up is happening.

It will be interesting to see how Trump responds to this. If Pam Bondi stays in her job then clearly he is grateful for what she has done.

If she is sacked then it would be deserved. Her office has so far lost most of the cases it has been involved in. Usually the AG’s office wins most of its cases.

The most entertaining aspect of this is the absolute melt down on the far right about this. Time will tell if their love of Trump will wane.

Entertained at the prospect of the US right "blowing a fuse", as you put it, I went to Fox & Breitbart for a look at that but got nothing. Seems like they are in evasion mode.

So I followed your link and got the Guardian (that bastion of the US right). They seem to have detected some rumour, like smoke on the wind. Tried CNN & struck gold here: https://edition.cnn.com/2025/07/08/politics/maga-base-trump-analysis

Bondi responded to a reporter’s question about a client list by saying she had one on her desk; the DOJ now says there was no client list. (The White House claimed Monday that Bondi was somehow referring to other documents — a line that Bondi echoed during a Tuesday Cabinet meeting.) Bondi said there were tens of thousands of videos of Epstein with children or child pornography; the DOJ’s conclusions say nothing of the sort.

Evidence has a bad habit of evaporating in politics, eh? What's real one day is mythical next day. Yet make it up as you go along works so well. Why the angst?

the situation is a powder keg in a MAGA universe that has for years believed Trump was about to rip the lid off a conspiracy of child sex traffickers that included powerful figures. That’s not just the case with Epstein, but also with the QAnon conspiracy theory

So, like Trump told his media front-person, we have alternative facts, and they are whatever suits the govt on that day. Then conspiracy theorists try to keep up…

Great to see MAGA do the full burn, for once.

Trump reaping what he sowed. Either there is nothing of substance in the files, or musk was correct and trump is desperate to cover it up. Either way until trump releases the files he looks guilty. A nice little fire to fan

The list is shorthand for all of the physical evidence gathered during the raids of Epstein's houses…

That evidence..photos/videos hasn't gone away,.and is in the custody of the fbi…

The question now being do those involved in Epstein's 'suicide'…have enough clout/reach..to be able to get at that evidence…

    • Obtrectator 4.1

Even if they did, the RW cabal in the WH/HoR/Senate would immediately rush through a "suitable" change to the law.

I've never been able to figure out how MAGA enthusiasts became convinced that President "Grab 'em by the pussy," who appears in untold photos and videos of Epstein's parties, would be keen to expose Epstein's clients. I mean, he might pretend to be, in an OJ Simpson "I will find the real killer" kind of way, but not seriously.

    • I've always been amused by the fact that, despite four years of the Biden Administration, during which multiple prosecutions of Trump happened, several by the Federal DOJ, nothing – and I mean nothing – about Trump-Epstein ever emerged as actionable material.

Because you know that tens of millions of Democrat voters and any number of Democrat bureaucrats, very much would have loved that.

Too bad actually, if that also meant Bill Clinton and others would have been caught with their hands in the pussy, so to speak.

    Nothing new under the sun.

P Diddy, a rich black man, has accusations leveled against him November 2023.

    July 2025 trial is concluded.

Epstein et al, a rich white man has accusations leveled against him 2006.

2022 a solitary woman is convicted.

U$A, the country where you get the justice you can afford.

Surely Bibi has the original list (straight from their now deceased asset) and he’s hanging onto it no matter what Bondi and the FBI do?
