      Yep, I vote McClure
You may remember me from such shows as “Cycle Your Way Out Of Recession” and “What Shares?”

Tough Choice, Lionel Hutz from an incompetance but feel sorry for him perspective as he does the cheesy grin well.
Wiggum…ralphy or the chief but they’re both dim but they are well intentioed so neither.

It’s Sideshow Bob as the quote from him after bart/lisa uncovered his fraudulent mayoral election campaign goes…..” secrectly you crave a rebulican……..to rule you like a king”. Then Bob produced the documented fraud in 5 volumes as bart/lisa claimed he’s too stupid to do all that alone.

A clear winner if you ‘Trust’ my answer.

    Homer Simpson.

Lax and incompetent, but with a buffoonish charm that many find likeable despite his penchant for trying to strangle people who oppose him…

Well hes popular, hes a self made Millionaire , he is the leader of our country, he getting his policies thru, hes a diplomat, so im trying to think.

Hes a bit of all of them I think, but in a nice way, not in a mean spirited, chip on my shoulder, hate success way, that you guys are thinking.

      Brett Dale = Barney

I just just hear Barney saying that.

Homer is a likeable/funny guy, who does the right thing eventually so how can it be Homer ?

Sideshow Bob had a career elsewhere (and did time) till asked to run for mayor as the watercooler didn’t quite have the charisma….that scene is so eerily close as to how the Nat backroom boys must have decided JK was the ringmaster for the band of circus performers he now leads.

we like Homer because we don’t have to live with him. Imagine if we did.

Kind of like Key, nice in theory. pretty crappy when you’re relying on him

Is there a character on The Simpsons who attempts to present an affable to others, while behind the scenes is working, in shady behind the scene deals, to undermine their efforts and values?

Not even a year into our ‘centrist’ government and already we’ve seen massive steps away from what people thought they were voting for.

ETS subsidies for poluters, super city, 90 days, ACC, ACE cuts, education cuts etc etc.

Few people are up in arms about this, because New Zealand is still distracted by Key’s ‘lovable’ antics.

We’ve got a bright future ahead of us.

    Ha Ha Ha.

Either the Bumblebee man, because you hardly ever understand what the hell he’s on about 🙂 or he would be Gil the salesman, just because!! lol

Um I think Key is the one in the middle. Not center left, not center right.
Besides the others are not real. They are Helen Clark hiding behind a cartoon cutout.

Don Brash always had the “Montgomery Burns” role all to himself.

So I guess Key has to console himself with something somewhat less in support of capitalist excess (at least publicly).

It will be that one on the far right, the kid. (Young)
John Key is a bit of joke, but seems to be popular. I suppose it is the ‘aura’ around him that makes him popular and that is what makes him ‘worthy’ to the masses, in the end.
People like the ‘feel good vibe’ over what is actually ‘expected of him’.
I actually haven’t watched the Simpsons for years, it is just ‘repeats’ all the time.

Santa’s Little Helper, if only because he’s shredding our lounge furniture and shitting in the corners of the room.

How about a “Simpsons” poll for all the party leaders – there are some very obvious contenders and you’re all wrong Key is obviously Dr Hibbert.

Key to me though would be Chief Wiggum. Sure, he’s got that down-to-earth goofy grin, but why in the name of all that’s holy is he allowed to use a gun!?!

Oh and our David Farrar is so Comic Book Guy!
