Loved this comment on another forum.

Yes it’s complicated, yes we will be worse off, yes we risk economic disaster, yes we risk being excluded from many vital international agreements on safety security and the environment, yes we will remove our and millions of Europeans rights to move where they want and vote when they get there, yes we will reduce the life chances of future generations who didn’t vote for this shit, yes the decision was made by the poorest educated people in the country, yes it only happened because of Tory concerns about ukip, yes the leave campaign was based on a foundation of lies.

But something something will of the people and bendy bananas.

The only sane and rational thing would be to stop this madness now.

No, we will carry on regardless.
A referendum called by charlatans, backed by liars and voted for by idiots, the ill informed and the xenophobic.

A country that has moved from the fastest growing economy in the European union to the slowest.

Our status as the world’s first idiocracy is secured.
In ten years time when enough of the aged xenophobes have popped their clogs we can look back at this lunacy and think wtf were they thinking.

yes we risk being excluded from many vital international agreements on safety security and the environment

They don’t need to be part of those agreements to make sure that their own laws match or exceed them.

yes we will remove our and millions of Europeans rights to move where they want and vote when they get there

Ah, but do they actually have those rights? IMO, they don’t.

yes we will reduce the life chances of future generations who didn’t vote for this shit

Not necessarily. In fact, if the UK does well they could even be better off.

yes the decision was made by the poorest educated people in the country

Who also happen to be the most badly affected by the present system. You can’t blame them for not going with what the experts say when the education that those self same experts have provided those people is that those experts are talking BS.

A country that has moved from the fastest growing economy in the European union to the slowest.

Probably as a result of following what the experts said.

“voted for by idiots, the ill informed and the xenophobic.”

Oh you forgot one thing – they were the majority!

Seems like governing when not actually governing due to incompetence.

What a shambles. Theresa May is as much use to the UK (or anywhere else for that matter), as tits on a bull!

The British Tories are stuffed. May might as well hand over the reins to Jeremy Corbyn now, considering the party she leads is unable to govern without seeking his party’s advice and assistance on a very big issue. Britain will be much better off for it.

Corbyn is the person for the job as PM.

Did you not get the election results, the Tories overall vote went UP 5.6%. Due to the vagaries of FPP the seats went down, but May has got a higher % than Cameron ever did.
Corbyn of course did even better than that, but May is going to be there for the next 5 years due to the the Fixed Term Parliaments act.

Well the bribe to the Hard right loony bags from Northern Ireland, keeps May in power.

I notice your right wingers are comfortable with the support of terrorists…

“Theresa May knows that the tories are utterly stuffed over Brexit…”
How so? Corbyn supports Brexit., May has the numbers to pass legislation, and across the UK support for Brexit has actually increased since the referendum.
