Won the TradeMe bid last night for the haircut kit.

Other Half will have to do it.

Also made a suitably dense set of cheese scones and deep dark coffee early this morning to try a faux-cafe experience.

I recommend extreme caution going that route. You don't wanna end up where the only way to salvage the situation is going Kojak.

Cheese scones – nah. But I'm seriously hanging out for some cinnamon rolls from Hare and the Turtle.

They're not quite as good as Cinnabon or the sticky buns you get in Maine. But they're the best I've found so far in Orcland.

Did my own for years good old no4 all over, low maintenance as it gets.

Barber these days now the gluten induced anxiety is a thing of the past.

Listening to Lisa Owen on nat radio this evening. Yeah I know, I'm getting stir crazy.

Apparantly there have been assaults on essential workers in Ak, namely bus drivers and security staff. Awful as that is. Do they say that is less, normal, or more than usual. No, they go to Mayer Goff who says its shocking. Suffer me, as soon as Goff gets interviewed he immediately clicks into polly speak. I swear to you he has more polly speak cliches than anyone else in the world.

Since Mayer Robbie auckland has not been well served by local body beaurocrats. They only seem to be hell bent on legacy projects and bugger any infrastructure maintenance. Although I will give Brown high marks for his choice as to who he had a wee peek over the shoulder with.

Impressive that Cath T got the Aotea Centre built then.

I do have to say I think it is one of the ugliest buildings and in an unfortuante location for a city of sales. But then that is just IMO
