I had to love the French lass on the telly last week who when asked why the student protests were being so violent, calmly explained they had blockaded their school peacefully and the media didn't cover them at all, they were invisible. So they had a meeting and decided to burn the school down instead whilst claiming they were the muslim brotherhood, and voila! Here the media are interviewing us.
We could do with a bit more of that sort of calm, mongrel, savoir-faire here in our politics.
Well Guy Fawkes, here in the rarefied Central Otago air of the haute-bourgeoisie all you need is one filmstar to reach into California's producer class and you generate more protest money against an open cast mine than you have seen in your lifetime.
