Is this an invitation to comment about some rick who lacks the competence to govern?

      I guess. It involves a rat who doesn’t give a rat’s arse.

If there are any Wanaka or Cromwell or Hawea people who want to see a genuine unrepentant advocate for the opporessed of Palestine, come on over and see John Minto on Monday night in Wanaka:

Is America heading towards secession? In this video, Professor Ryan Griffiths joins me in a discussion that considers whether or not deep political polarisation could lead to the eventual break-up of the United States. Drawing on the arguments from his book, "The Disunited States: Threats of Secession in Red and Blue America and Why They Won't Work", we examine the history of secession in the US, from the American Revolution and Civil War to modern independence movements in Texas, California, Hawaii and elsewhere. We also explore the constitutional and legal barriers to secession, including the significance of the Supreme Court's Texas v. White ruling, and compare the American experience with cases such as Scotland, Catalonia, Quebec and the former Yugoslavia….

There is more, so look at google site for fuller discussion and explanations.
