PsyclingLeft.Always – thanks for that. What a great version of Anchor Me.

New Zealand music icon, Don McGlashan, performs 'Anchor Me' live in the RNZ studio, accompanied by Anita Clark on violin and backing vocals. [23 May 2025]

McGlashan stated that he “would rather have sex with a very ugly crayfish” than let the National Party use his music.

Allgood DMK, thankyou for linking the Song (And yes Anita is a great accompanist : )

I did laugh at the Don McGlashan' quote : )….

I actually find it quite bizarre how the Nats…(and of course other RW parties world wide) just latch-on, leech-like, to Iconic and meaningful songs/music, and oft times to the Music Artists intense disbelief/displeasure; for their IMO, purely puerile political promo's.

Arrogant? Ignorant? Pretty Legal? Morons? All of that…
