Mummy! The bad man cut my pre-school’s funding!

John Key had a busy day playing rodeo-clown yesterday.

Before having the Air Force fly him to Ohakune for the opening of 16 whole kilometres of cycleway (which, btw, was already in the works before the John Key Memorial Cycleway was a twinkle in Kevin Taylor’s eye) Key had photo-op with children.

It’s is a John Key favourite. The perfect distraction from lying in the House, a stalling economic recovery, and an education minister in melt-down.

But the clown show doesn’t always go off without a hitch 🙂

Look! It’s Russel Norman’s superior being!

However, you’d expect a child to cry and sulk, not a grown “man”…

Quote from film Alien about being a grown ‘man’…. You might like it Hamish, probably would apply to you.
Woman soldier doing muscle building exercises is asked by male soldier –
‘Have you ever been mistaken for a man?’
      She says ‘No. Have you?’

[lprent: I think that was in ‘Aliens’ rather than ‘Alien’. ]

3 times the funding for the same number of children.
Some sensible rationalisation of taxpayers resources rather than the bottomless pit of socialist borrowing.
The rhetorical outrage belongs to the Left . Economic common sense belongs to National
