CATL, the worlds biggest battery manufacturer has announced details of their sodium ion batteries.
$US19 per kwh as opposed to around $55-$60 kwh for current lithium ion.
Other numbers;175wh per kg, 6,000,000 kms lifespan (you will wear out the steering wheel and seats before the battery drops to 85% capacity), -40C to 70C range for operating, full speed charging at low temps, cheaper using sodium, aluminium and carbon.
Not just EV but home and industrial
Very Excite!
