Environmental Activists Accused Of Forcing Mining Companies To Obey The Law

The minister says he’s worried the use of these laws could start an unfortunate precedent with unforeseen consequences.

“If activists keep using the law like this soon it could be difficult to build new mines on our environmental regions. Soon, we might actually have to start moving away from coal mining as our major foundation for energy and before you know it we’ll have a cleaner world. The very thought of it makes me sick.”

It’d be hilarious – if National weren’t actually going round changing the laws to make polluting easier rather than harder.

How do those idiots work out that farming is not dangerous. I have worked on dairy farms as a employee (had a rush of blood to the head) and as a plumber and drainlayer. But construction is more dangerous than a farm. Bullshit.

I don’t see that dangerous activity Worm Farming on the List for Dangerous activities.
Paddy pointed out last night TV3, that worm-farming will have to have Health and Safety provisions but Agriculture won’t.

well, I suppose worm farming might expose one to legionella, like the occasional potting-mix case we have.

Is worm farming not agricultural? I mean, a huntaway would be overkill, but still 🙂

There has been discussion here on whether people like Key are narcissists or psychopathic. Every word that Henry’s guest uttered seem to point to one answer. And where does Henry himself fit. Great piece thanks whateva.
