    Matt Hooton wants to spend even more on the flag debacle, but any sane observer would say this is throwing good money after bad.

    One wonders what the Taxpayers Union thinks of his comments.

      Yep, he wants us to be mad all black supporters waving our “plain black flags” (lol) and slowly corporatising the world. Would have loved to have been around the 2011 World Cup seeing Hooten hootin and hollering with his Tongan brothers. Jokes aside that was the best part of the last cup seeing the pacific island supporters fully decking out their cars with their flags.

    The reality here is most duty solicitors are run off their feet. And legal aid has to be paid back in most cases. That is if you even qualify.

    Oh we become more and more like the USA.

    Polly Toynbee absolutely nails it:

Corbyn has shown he can enthuse multitudes with optimism, sincerity and straight-talking. In his acceptance speech he called for “working together to achieve great victories, not just electorally for Labour, but emotionally for the whole of our society to show we don’t have to be unequal. It doesn’t have to be unfair, poverty isn’t inevitable, things can, and they will, change.” That’s essentially what Labour people feel and always have, but that sound of radicalism is usually stifled for fear of frightening the voters.
