Another day, more inane questions in the house from the opposition. Apparently the PM is “dancing on a pin head” because there are strikes, lots of strikes all caused by the govt this year. Nothing to do of course with nine years of National govt growing a boil full of social and industrial pus that this govt has lanced.

But hey, hasn’t Tony Ryall turned out to be such a great guy since “leaving politics”.

I think you are understating how much crap the govt are going to feel over this Air NZ stuff.

Warranted or not, it will hit Labour.

People are frantically trying to rebook now even if it probably won’t happen

John Key is on Air New Zealand’s board of directors, why doesn’t he pull rank and sort it out. Show some guts John.

The pressure put on unionised engineers is probably a John Key orchestrated strategy. That’s what board directors do isn’t it – strategy?

Two pieces of prose caught my attention of late.

Geoff Murphy recently deceased film director of many iconic kiwi films. As quoted by Ian Mune. “The only certainty in life is DOUBT…..I think.

Linda Hellanin on radio live was trying to encourage a discussion on what makes men cry. This txt was sent. “When I heard that you, Sainso and Mitch Harris were made redundant, I felt sad. Then I learnt that Garner and Ryan Bridge were staying on, I cried”.

I’m picking May will win. The Stories aren’t keen on her, but nor they are of Trump in tails and the poor man’s poor man’s Churchill.

Brexit will be pushed out a year to give everyone breathing space.

Pleased to see Air NZ and the Engineers and Cleaners have come to an agreement and the Union will vote. Well done. The costs of winning began to look grim for Air NZ… especially when it was reported they wanted to cut existing conditions, and costs to reimburse passengers could be 10 times the cost of their fares. Sense prevailed.
