Isnt the expected incubation period around 5 days (not hard and fast)?….may be a little early to declare a near miss
The Queensland pilot tested positive after 9 days
so a few days yet before we can breathe a sigh of relief
The whole of Cairns in Queensland is currently locked down because of infection from that same ship via a reef pilot and taxi driver, so yes guess it might be a few days of anxiety in Tauranga. Not sure that finger crossing is a sensible strategy with Delta.
