Incredibly, the Taxdodgers Union/Curated poll has reverted to publishing actual results which largely agree with the independent pollsters in NZ rather than publishing false results designed to influence public opinion.

ACT suddenly drops 4% and the Greens rise 4%. What a surprise.

Oh, so suddenly Curia is a credible source – because the current set of results agree with your political bias! Oh how the mighty have fallen!

Three years to the next election.

No need to massage the vote at present.

Perhaps you could share the good news with Muttonbird.

David Seymour this morning spoke to a group of academic kids at a particular Auckland school. I have it on good authority the main thrust of his talk was to suggest NZ cannot and should not be active in climate change mitigation efforts because the rest of the world can’t or won’t.

No link, this was partial testimony from an attendee.

The Pentagon admits the awful truth.

The X Files was part of the Roswell Conspiracy Theory.

In 1947, the Air Force told journalists off the record it was a UFO, and the next day on the record denied it was. Thus came the urban myth of a UFO cover up.

The awful truth, the Air Force does stuff (spy plane test flights) it wants to keep secret – the infamous black budget – spending on projects not known to the public (national security on planet earth – Area 51 Capitol Hill eyes only).

Confirming the earlier admission by the CIA.

A spike in UFO sightings in the 1950s and 60s was caused by tests of advanced US spy planes and space technology, a Pentagon report has concluded.

Officials also said there was "no evidence" that the US government had encountered alien life.

Most sightings of UFOs were ordinary objects from Earth, according to the report submitted to Congress on Friday.

But Pentagon officials accepted that their research won't quell popular beliefs about alien visitors.

According to a 2021 Gallup poll, just over 40% of Americans think alien spacecraft have visited Earth, a number that increased from 33% in just two years.

The AARO examined archives and classified files and reviewed all official government investigations dating back to 1945.

The report lists new technologies that researchers believe led to spikes in UAP reports in the 1950s and 60s.

They included high-altitude balloons – one of which inspired waves of UFO speculation when it crashed near Roswell, New Mexico in 1947 – and the U-2 spy plane.

Lara Trump, the former president's daughter-in-law, was elected co-chair of the Republican National Committee on Friday

The Gandhi Congress Party, the Bhutto Pakistan People's Party reprise and the return of Marcos to the Philippines.

Adams, Bush and public service to the nadir of the petulant arrogance of Trump (the family claimed Swedish ancestry until a journalist exposed the lie – Drumpf is a Bavarian family surname) – though the Stockholm Syndrome dimension to their abuse of power cowers the corruptible.

A time of Trump trauma part 2 – open fascism, would impact the world.
