Bill English: man of the people

The Crown BMWs are back in the news. One will have a $1000 underseat heater to keep a worthy’s arse toasty. Based in Dunedin. For “long-distance and long-duration movements”. Hmm. Who flies to Dunedin for a 3 hour drive to Dipton occasionally? Guess you need that heater against the Southern cold when you’re used to balmy Karori.

I bet the people of Christchurch are overjoyed to hear English’s bum won’t be getting nippy.

Sick prisoners cost a shit load of money to look after mate…just like sick citizens.

Somehow though, with multizone climate air I dont think those BMW’s are cold.

I’m proud to say that I wouldn’t know what multi-zone climate air was, (with apologies to Lady Bracknell), nor evah ridden in a BMW. 😉

Yeah my brother in-law just got a brand new 7 series limo very similar to one of the new Crown ones, very very nice. Would’ve been nicer if he could have got the tax payer to pay for it like Bill and John of course.

Yup, Bill and John must be pretty happy with that sweetheart deal the last Labour administration negotiated with BMW.

only because defaulting on Labour’s sweetheart deal would cost the country more than standing by the agreement.

The buck may have stopped at John’s desk but only because he’s had to swallow Labour’s dead rat. No bucks stopping on Teflon Phil’s side of the House that’s for sure.

                  got any proof of that?

this has been discussed before and im pretty sure it was discovered there was an opt out clause or some other similar mechanism involved .

                  Could be wrong tho

Hey joe, if that was the reason then how come Key said he didn’t even bother reading the papers before he signed them?

You calling my mate John Key a liar?

Lignite Bill, man of the Chinese people:
China’s largest private mining company, Qinghua Group, is negotiating to buy rights to about two billion tonnes of low-grade lignite in Otago and Southland.

Qingua Group has a budget of around $10 billion to spend in New Zealand – on lignite…

I guess him and Key have lots in common – a love of low wages and foreign ownership

Well at least if he pops down to the garage during an adjournment, Goff can fiddle with the wiring.

It’s about the only way Labour are ever effectively going to turn up the heat under the arse of this government.

Big oil and gas can’t wait to get a piece of that hot arse.

Blinglish’s derrière will be in pristine condition for when we kick him out of the beehive.

Dipton is probably closer to Queenstown airport, known for its heavy snowfalls

While Key was claiming he didnt know/forgot about the new fleet one other minister was carefully studying the options list

I could fix the seat heating for $39.95. Saw a lovely sheepskin at Pak ‘n Save today. Not hard to tuck it into the groove of the seat.

I have not stopped to think why Pak n’ Save are selling sheepskins. They appeared a couple of weeks ago. I have seen flat screen TVs and a microwave for sale as well at Pak n’ Save.

Probably the above items were sourced cheaply and anything for a profit. A bit dumb as the price of groceries are increasing and watch the price of ice cream, cheese, yougurt and butter in the next few weeks.

The last thing we need to be doing is heating Gerry Brownlee’s [pointlessly sick and insulting. I’m no Brownlee fan either, but let’s not get in to this kind of thing please. — r0b]
