I only wish Labour could have done something about it while they were in power – as Twyford notes, it doesn’t look like National’s done much about it, and it doesn’t look like they intend to do much about it. The recession will probably have something to do with inaction – it’s been the catch-all for pretty much every issue over the last year.

Wow. Red Alert’s first web blog.

I can’t wait to see Red Alert’s first web blog’s first web web blog.

And after that, well there’s only Red Alert’s first web blog’s first web web blog’s first web web web blog.

    The suspense is killing me.

    Rocky,
My argument was ..Twyford and King are publicity junkies.
They are the ones who made personal attacks against the pig farmers, to push their own wheelbarrow.
    Am I wrong?

    Steve.

Well that comment was a little less offensive. See. it’s not that hard to get your point across without resorting to personal attacks.

Tell me how Twyford has made personal attacks against pig farmers?

Also tell me how you know that Twyford is standing up for pigs to push his own wheelbarrow rather than because he actually cares.

If he believes it (and I have no reason to believe he doesn’t), why hasn’t he got the policy changed?

That’s the biggest problem with Labour: too many people with good intentions, but without the willingness to follow through.

Good points George, and ones I can’t answer other than to say I wouldn’t have posted what I did if I wasn’t pretty sure Twyford believes what he’s saying.

Perhaps you might get a better answer asking Twyford directly on Red Alert?

Where is Twyford’s commitment to changing the Economic policies that create the kind of conditions where animals are exploited like this?

This isnt “New Generation Labour”, it’s a new generation of career politician.

having a video blog doesn’t make you Obama.

you have to be born around the same time and lead the National party for that…
