ImperatorFish: Whose Planet Is This?

I see that Bill English has been talking about Planet Labour. It sounds like a terrible place. Imagine a place with a stagnant economy; led by a government that is anti-growth, doesn’t have any plan, and is not prepared to make the tough decisions needed to ensure the future prosperity of its people; where most people struggle to get ahead; and where those who aspire for better things are probably thinking of leaving.

What a nightmare. If only it weren’t real.

So tell me, how can Planet Labour be any worse?

Planet Labour will be almost as bad as Planet NACT as they still go after the delusional growth meme that only ever enriches the already rich, you know, the people who have ~US$21 trillion hidden in offshore accounts and tax havens. The only difference would be that Labour won’t punish the poor as much as NACT for the theft perpetrated by the rich.

The delusional growth meme gets me sighing each morning when I wake up and read the next installment on the Euro ‘crisis’. How can it be a crisis when it’s been going on for four years? It’s the new norm, and will continue to be chaotic until it’s dealt with as the norm. We’re not getting back to continual growth. TPTB need to deal with it as the new norm and move on in terms of policy.

God help any planet that is unfortunate enough to be “discovered” by human kind, particularly politicians. If we do indeed happen upon another planet, let it be Planet Green.

At the moment the planet is in the thrall of the people who think that you can eat money.

Sure wish they would undock from the mothership Earth, and go find another rock with a more primitive lifeform to complement their own.

While New Zealand’s two main Warmist political parties in parliament persist with business as usual.

Not wanting to offend them, the Green Party keep their lips sealed.

The Greens, fully aware of the danger, Refuse to alert the public, or challenge the other parties in parliament.

Green Party members tell me they are afraid of looking “Too Radical”.

In my opinion the New Zealand Green Party are failing the New Zealand people with their policy of silence.

Green Party members tell me they are afraid of looking “Too Radical”.

That has been their MO since they started, don’t rock the boat, keep your eye on votes, …. and promote growth via Kiwi Saver.

Refuse to alert the public to what?

Actually I think the Nats are turning NZ into a giant time machine and setting back our social and economic norms back to the early stages of the industrial revolution. Roll on poor houses and children working in coal mines.
