Family First says allowing schools to introduce gender neutral toilets for transgender students is sending a “harmful message” and causing confusion.
The lobby group is today publishing legal advice around incorporating transgender students into the school environment and its national director Bob McCoskrie believes schools are being bullied into policies instead of seeking guidance. At least one Wellington college has installed gender neutral bathrooms, and another is planning to.

“We think it’s a harmful message. To target these messages at schools at young and vulnerable people saying if you’re not happy with yourself, you can change your sex, that’s a dangerous message, it’s causing harm and it’s causing confusion. “We want them to be unique and who they are but based on the reality of biology.”

The common thread of experience that seems to run amongst all transgendered / questioning people is that they have “always felt wrong” and “feel wrong in their skin”.
It’s not a case of people “being unhappy with themselves” and then “changing their sex” as a response.
Puerile drivel from idiots who think that their own life experience is universal and that anyone who is different is just “making a choice” to be different.

They don’t really work for a living as all there money comes off the hard work and sweat of others.
They do not like it when people do not fit into molds they are comfortable with.

Then, as they shuffled shyly from foot to foot, blushed slightly and in hushed tones said, “Well, you know, men have sort of, gee you know…… things….. and women have…..aaaaah……… well, sort of no things.”
Then when the question is asked, “What has that to do with how a person identifies internally with being male or female,” there would be more shuffling, blushing with sudden awareness of intellectual challenge, and more muttering……………………
As a transwoman I find this attitude fairly common, sadly. Of course their ‘reality of biology’ takes no note of xxy, xyy or any other genetic variation. Truthfully, if I had had the information and access that young people today potentially have I feel reasonably certain that many years of depression, suicide attempts etc could have been avoided. These people have caused more pain and hurt to young LGBTI people than anyone can imagine, they should be shut down or at the very least be given no oxygen in terms of media attention. Of course the media just see a headline, who cares if some poofter gets hurt or destroyed by them
Family Fist is fine with LGBTQI kids stringing themselves up because it saves them the job.
Bob McCoskrie reminds me of the last “sensible” social conservative we had, Graham Capill. Creepy!
