Most firearms have some precision-engineered part that can be easily removed and stored separately to render it useless (or at least hazardous if shoddily-replaced). Bolt, firing pin, receiver, trigger assembly, whatever.

Besides, apparently some of the stolean weapons were "exhibits". I hope that means as in "museum or training exhibits" and not "exhibit A for the prosecution", because then one has to wonder about the chain of custody for everything stored at that police station.

I mean, keeping people and things from leaving the premises is one of the primary jobs of a police station. The causes of failure are limited to corruption, incompetence (brother of complacency), design failure, or natural disaster.

Where does money come from? Video made by ex lawyer John Titus is actually quite riveting as it lays out disturbing fact, after disturbing fact.

Most jarring point for me was that the money supply between 1929-1933 fell 31%. This was spread across 9000 banks. Today get a decrease in money supply of 30% it would take only 3 banks. No wonder we're screwed.

wonderful A love it..don't know when though..

Money is a new form of slavery, and distinguishable from the old simply by the fact that it is impersonal – that there is no human relation between master and slave.” Leo Tolstoy, Russian writer.

“It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and money system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning.” Henry Ford, founder of the Ford Motor Company.

“The modern banking system manufactures money out of nothing. The process is, perhaps, the most astounding piece of sleight of hand that was ever invented. Banks can in fact inflate, mint and un-mint the modern ledger-entry currency.” Major L L B Angus.
“The study of money, above all other fields in economics, is one in which complexity is used to disguise truth or to evade truth, not to reveal it. The process by which banks create money is so simple the mind is repelled. With something so important, a deeper mystery seems only decent.” John Kenneth Galbraith (1908- ), former professor of economics at Harvard, writing in ‘Money: Whence it came, where it went’ (1975).

"The non-profit group claims to have helped 150 people turn away from extremist hate groups since 2010.

Five of the six people running Life After Hate claim to be ex-white supremacists themselves."

      yeah nah thanks

      Darth Vader

"Over his years, both as Anakin Skywalker and as the Sith Lord Darth Vader, it is estimated that Vader has killed around 60 times in the films and almost 400 times in the Darth Vader Marvel comics so far. Countless others have died at his hands, especially if the Jedi executed in Order 66 or the people killed on Alderaan are also included in his death toll. These are the 15 Most Disturbing Acts Committed By Darth Vader: …"

        yeah nah thanks

        Ok

What is it that you reject? Don’t you trust them? Or some other reason?

Darth Vader is a metaphor, of course, but that information very nicely confirmed my point.

6 people provided an out for 150 over 8 years. 3 people per active worker per year. In the USA.

Whereas zero tolerance actually has a possibility of slowing down the recruitment rate.

Injury prevention should always be the preferred option.

The sort of thing they're talking about looks like some pretty intensive 1:1 work over the long term: to continue the plaster analogy, that's rehabilitative physio. It might work for some individuals, but with thousands if not tens of thousands of cases made every year, the only real way to address the problem is to view it as a public safety issue and isolate, minimise, or eliminate the proximate causes of injury.

as McFlock says – plus I'm not convinced of their success statistics. I worry that we will miss effective approaches if we get all cuddly with the white supremacists – and I worry about the targets of these guys and how they feel while we spend so much time and effort trying to change peoples beliefs.

I'd also say that we need massive resources to help people see what is happening. This is not a drill.

According to the most recent annual report by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), which has long tracked extremist activity, 39 of the 50 extremist-related murders tallied by the group in 2018 were committed by white supremacists, up from 2017, when white supremacists were responsible for 18 of 34 such crimes.
