..he was there because he was homeless/living in his car..(!)..with his cats..
..the crime of being homeless…

Amazing amount of battery storage around the world especially in the USA (Trump will be confused) and in Australia.
Of course this government has done nothing to encourage this in NZ.
All it has done is whine that there will be blackouts if the lake levels are low and talk about using more fossil fuels.
The solution is staring them (and the upcoming Lab/Green/TPM government) in the face.
(And I mean solar plus attached storage NOT Lake Onslow which is much more expensive)
We are going to end up with lots of individual battery storage in households.
Which is way more expensive than Onslow.
But that is private debt which is apparently. Fine!
Even though the interest the we all have to pay, to overseas banks, is much higher than Government financing.
