“Cleaners are ready to bargain for better pay and respect!”

So if the union can’t acheive better pay, will they settle for respect?

You mean those people that we seem to have flooding over the electorate at present?

When I’m finally getting enough load on my programs to finally stress them slightly in a real life situation for the first time since 2004. I spent part of today actually looking at the logs for slowdowns to fix.

That is a round-about way of saying that they’re pumping an awful lot of canvassing data in the systems, and while we’d love even more volunteers on the streets of Mt Albert, I don’t think that the Nats will lift their rather pathetic effort by attending union rallies

Good point LP. But we know that a certain union’s offices have already been used for phone canvassing in the by-election, and a certain union’s vehicles have been used to transport people to erect and maintain Labour Party signs. The SFWU was very active in South Auckland in 2005. Have they been given the hurry-up to help out in Mt Albert as well?

Why would I believe this from a lowly auditor working in a bank? How would you possibly know such things?

Thanks for the linky love, isn’t it funny how some people assume that anything lefties do must be about the Labour party? Cleaners have been campaigning around pay and conditions for years, but of course it must be about the Mt Albert by-election! Sneaky cleaners, planning so far ahead!
