American news report from 1981 about the coming age of “newspapers by computer”. Classic.
I thought for a sec that she was doing to do air quotes when saying ‘computer’ at the start…turns out they were a bit further along thatn that but who gives a damn.
Brilliant – loved seeing this. I remember at school a few years earlier, “the” computer was stored in a cupboard and wheeled out for use by the uber math geeks.
I got my first computer in 1987 I think – an Amiga 500. The memories 🙂
