As you can see, I’ve rewritten the theme for The Standard. It is now a modern Gutenberg block theme that just happens to look somewhat like the custom theme that has been running here since 2010. I like a nice clean and flexible interface that doesn’t require excessive tooling or licences. This one is based on top of the SmartCube theme from ThemeZee.

Over the last three years, our current incompetent government has been running New Zealand into an artificial recession. The most interesting thing so far about Hagers’ Dirty Work book has been revelation of the extent that the Tobacco industry funds the Taxpayers Union and the people operating it.
