This morning's Post/Freshwater poll has Opp on the edge of oblivion:
Lab 29.7 Gre 14.3 TPM 2.0 =46.0
Nat 27.6 NZF 11.8 ACT 9.0 =48.4
Opp 5.4
With a likely 2 or 3 seat overhang for the Left from TPM this is still on a knife-edge. Opp are trending down and are perilously close to a wasted vote as people realise they stand for nothing.

Flyingrodent, a pessimistic commentator on UK politics, points up the sheer blindness of British opinionistas tut-tutting about the damage from the French post-demo arson and shop-looting.
'Britain might see riots like the ones in France. Hosts and guests talk at length about the terrors of immigration, and it doesn’t occur to any of them that Britain has in fact seen years of sustained rioting, arson and fighting with police by the far right.'

And, of course, as seen in NI and in England, that arson has been of homes with people inside, not of public buildings (except mosques and presumed migrant hostels) and pulling people from their cars because of skin colour at barricades.
The UK’s anti-migrant movement’s actions in fact make the French ‘far-left’ crowds seem very tame.
