More than a million comments

As at 08:30 NZST 2nd November 2015, we passed having more than a million approved and published comments. It is a little later than was predicted by Eddie back in March 2012, but was a pretty damn accurate estimate given the vagaries of the political cycles.

Dear Stuart Nash

Stuart Nash has criticised members of the Labour and this blog for having open and occasionally forceful debate.

Fouling our nest

New Zealand is a beautiful country, and tourism is our second biggest earner of foreign exchange. We’d be stupid to trash the place, right?

Indonesia is burning

There is a catastrophic event happening in one of the world’s more populous nations which is receiving very little attention from the media.  Indonesia is burning and no one is paying attention

US ship visit and nuclear free NZ

But New Zealand benefitted from payments of money to people smugglers.  What did the Government know?

Auckland Council is delivering a publication to all Auckland households celebrating five years of Auckland super city. But is there any reason to celebrate?

Getting mommy to dispense the drugs

Now that cannabis is going legal and heading for the neighbourhood social gatherings where mothers sell addictive substances (like cosmetics and kitchenware) to each other. Lets legalize it, tax it HEAVILY, and could someone please give Helen Kelly and others like her the relief that they can use.

Let’s keep politics out of Rugby

The right used to state that politics should be kept out of sport.  With John Key politicising the All Blacks to an obscene it may be time for them to reinforce what now appears to be a very reasonable principle.
