You know society has lost its way when you have mothers pleading for less holidays for there kids so they can afford to live.
Wow, that’s sad.
I wonder what country she came from and how it was handled there.
Possibly a country with cheap domestic labour so there could be a Nanny or and Amah to look after the children.

It’s also a sign of the fractured extended family Grandparents unable or unwilling to share the load?
We often live far away from each other, and without the currency of regular contact it can be a strain for both parties(child and grandparent)
In this case it sounds like the parents have left their country of origin and no longer have the support of their family
?
