Rather than decorating their tree, some committed Labour Party staffer seems still to be hard at work posting maiden speeches to YouTube.
The Greens have theirs up too [link].

Great I was looking for those the other day. I’m afraid that reading transcripts just isn’t the same.
They sure did take their time, but I suppose it’s better late than never.
Where are the rest of the Labour ones?
Jacinda Ardern MP. PM material.
(…as opposed to a certain other Ardern MP: IM material…)
Jacinda did a hell of a speech. Apparently she is pretty good organizer as well.
Phil Twyford did a good speech. He is a hell of a good organizer.
Slowly watching my way through them
Please move George Hawkins….
Wow Jacinda really did give a great speech.
She’s so obviously PM material that I hope she doesn’t get the old kiss of death “PM in waiting” magazine cover-story like they did with Anderton, Peters, etc, etc.
Janet,
my guess is that they’re still coming… Some of those have only just gone up. I’ll post again when I spot them.Have just checked. They seem all to be up now.

I think it’s a tribute to the Labour Party that women are automatically thought off as leadership figures from a (relatively) very young age.
