According to OIA release “Former health minister Tony Ryall was told in 2012 that Middlemore Hospital had more than one leaky building”

Coleman is only a mouse compared to that rat Ryall.

Every time I have to pay for a script from the chemist, I alway utter Ryall is a bastard.

Now it seems his Bastardry has blown out to fulsome type.

Hah! One of the passwords I use is along those lines. (But not as polite) #despisedsince2013

That sounds like the staff levels of the science advisory need to be increased so that they can look into more.

    Denmark full-face veil ban ‘discriminatory’.
Who says? Some romantic, contrary, disputatious young women. When western women go to Muslim countries it is regarded as polite and wise to cover legs, and arms? and wear a head scarf. Acknowledging the culture and ways of the country you are in is important and polite.

It becomes the latest in a number of European countries to pass such a ban, which mainly affects Muslim women wearing a niqab or burka.

Western women have spent a considerable amount of their time and energy trying to raise themselves above the moronic prejudice of conservative male-oriented society.
Why should they go backwards now, throwing away the right to be people accepted and facing up to society and vice versa?

Why not just wear the sensible hijab? There should be no ban on hijabs which fit with the suggestion in the Koran. A ḥijāb, is a veil worn by some Muslim women in the presence of any male outside of their immediate family, which usually covers the head and chest.

Yes,… interesting… in THIS country they ban motorcycle helmets , or balaclavas, dark glasses and scarfs combined or any other permutation that obscures the face when entering banks and the like…

Whats good for the goose is good for the gander.

Support for the Danish ban laws.

“I think that’s a reflection of the fact they know it’s not for long and maybe there is a view he’s mellowing with age,” National Party leader Simon Bridges said.

      And that’s National talking BS.

Simple fact of the matter is that the only people who seem concerned are National and they’ve been trying to scare everyone else into being scared of Winston as well.

Seems that their BS isn’t working though.

      1. 4.1.1

nah, its the lack of mates that has National all constipated. Its lonely out there, and if they don’t find some mates somewhere its gonna be lonely out there for a while to come.

Poor Simon, i guess that means no bridges to PM’ship just yet.

    2. 4.2

Quite; and it’s extremely frustrating this idiotic line the media is running about “Winston only got 7% of the vote and can now be PM!!!!!” crap.

A Parliamentary term is around 150 weeks.
      7% of 150 is 17.5.
      He’s acting PM for 6.
So according to their logic, he should get nearly three times as long.
And James Shaw should get 15 weeks.
Even 7% of the 50.4% majority they got is nearly 9 weeks.

So he’s actually under representing his percentage.

      Right number-heads?

I see the media are all over the Chair and CEO of HNZ now. They are pissed off that these people won’t give interviews. This is a RW strategy to make sure all blame is focussed on HNZ, and not the previous malevolent government.

Also HNZ are still pursuing ex-tenants for clean up costs apparently. This has to stop.

The government needs to channel all this anger right back onto the National Party where it belongs right now and not allow the Nats to guide the media.

Twyford needs to force the Chair and CEO of HNZ to front up and tell the truth on Tuesday at 0900 sharp.

Better still. He’s setting up an Inquiry so they will be forced to front up and tell the truth about everything.

    Good news.
Trains will be moving again on the Napier to Wairoa line for the first time in six years next Wednesday. (6 June)…

There will be a ceremony to mark the return of trains at KiwiRail’s operations depot in Ahuriri.
There are good vantage points for members of the public who are keen to see the train as it passes at Meeanee Quay and Domain Rd at around 11.30am.

“The line is expected to be ready for logging trains by the end of the year….

KiwiRail has estimated that using the Wairoa-Napier line to move the logs could take up to 5,714 trucks a year off the road, and cut carbon emissions by 1292 tonnes….

I’m sure that tireless campaigner for rail CLEENGREEN will be happy for the people of those districts 🙂

And yet there’s more to go ,- much more.
