Comment on Greens launch plan to break up the supermarket duopoly and bring down the price of food
According to chatgtp its not such a great idea. It would only raise 400 to 450 million not the 1.5 to 2 billion to remove gst from veg meat poultry fish and dairy. We could replace parliament with AI and that would save another 200 million.

Comment on Greens launch plan to break up the supermarket duopoly and bring down the price of food
I don’t think it will make much difference to the average grocery bill. I think one of the major problem is we pay the same price for NZ products as farmers can get for export. The more world food shortage the better prices for farmers but not so good for …

Comment on We owe a great debt to Grant Robertson
I was at a Bats gig the other night, and there was Grant Robertson minding his own business in the audience. I’m not sure whether nobody noticed him, or whether people were just giving him some room. How many other politicians of national significance …

I was 18 when Kirk died. I still think this was a real ‘sliding doors’ moment for NZ. What Muldoon have still won in 1975 – against Kirk ? Not in my view. Kirk had a lot of gravitas, he really suited the position of PM. Would Muldoon have been ditched by …

Comment on What repeat covid infections do to the human body
How are “the unvaccinated non-boosted dragging us down”??? Are you STILL not aware you can and will most likely contract and transmit this virus even with the Mrna injections? The real question should be what does repeated injections do to the human body? …

Drive all privately owned banks out of business by taxing banking at 100%. All profits from banking should go into the public purse. People will have to move their accounts from the other banks to KB, if the others are no longer there. Banking is political …

Everyone needs to have a breather and a cup of tea. Really? In the circumstances a little more proactivity seems warranted. Bullying has no place in a modern workplace

Since AUGUST 21ST 2021- 29% of what you frame as “the cowardly selfish super spreader antivaxers should be ashamed of themselves” account for all hospitalised (not including exempt). So what about the remaining majority, doesn’t that make them the ‘super …

Maybe you’re right? Both the Oxford trial on efficacy and ‘real world’ study from Brazil looking at effectiveness, have no value at all. May rock the boat of augmented reality we’re all clinging to too much? Nothing to see, look away, back to meta kids.
